Update... things are moving along!

Happy Monday!  Things are moving along just as they should considering we're uprooting and heading across state lines in 3 weeks... YIKES!  Ha!  But seriously, we are really getting the ball rolling now... financing for the new house is underway and we're doing all the collecting of information to send to get everything in line for a speedy closing.  Nick and I spent yesterday afternoon getting a head start on the packing ... at least the things we're fairly certain will not be used prior to the move... I mean will I really need that set of champagne flutes that I used at my wedding prior to the end of the year?  You know... the important stuff!

In other news... we spent Friday evening at a holiday/end-of-year party at Nick's boss's house.   All the families were invited and we had a delish dinner and lovely time with the group.  Big thanks to the Roberts' for the yummy dinner and goodies!

Nick was off most of the rest of the weekend which almost never happens!  We did a whole lot of nothing on Saturday, which was quite nice.  We did manage to check out paint swatches and decor ideas at Lowe's on Sunday.  It's really sad when that is the highlight of your activities!

Or best news of late (totally unrelated to the move) is the birth of our newest nephew, Matthew Ryan Neidecker!

Matthew is the son of Nick's sister, Christal, and her husband Scott.  Scott is currently deployed with the USMC in Afghanistan, and I am certain that they all can't wait to have him home!  He joins big brother Michael, who turned 3 in July.  We can't wait to finally get home to meet this sweet little nugget!
